BRC Chaplain Presides Over His First Communion Service
BRC chaplain Revd. Geoff Holder was priested in Hereford Cathedral on 4 July. The following day he presided at his first celebration of Holy Communion, at the joint Service of the Black Mountains Group of Parishes. The Service was held at St Michael's, Michaelchurch, Escley in south-west Herefordshire.
At the Service, BRC chaplain Revd. Nick Read preached, assisted by, vicar of the Black Mountains Group, Revd. Luci Morriss. Geoff is a self-supporting curate and began his post in the Diocese of Hereford in July 2025. Alongside his curacy, Geoff works full time in the charity sector with the Diocesan Environment Team, where he focuses on land and nature recovery. He also helps run his smallholding, rearing pigs and cattle.
